Deborah Brown - Brain Spotting
Brainspotting is a trauma therapy that meets the deep parts of the brain and body where the source of trauma, anxiety, emotions, pain and distress are stored.
Dr David Grand, the Founder of Brainspotting, talks about ‘Where we look affects how we feel’. What that means in a Brainspotting session is that we locate a place in the field of vision, called a ‘Brainspot’ that correlates with what you would like to address.
By looking at the Brainspot, and others that show up during the session, we can connect with deep unprocessed feelings, emotions, sensations and memories. By noticing and following what arises, including the resonance in the body, within the attuned holding of the Brainspotting Practitioner, you can start to process what is held in the neurophysiology.
A course of three sessions is recommended with additional sessions for longer term work or as required.
Sessions are 60 minutes - £70
