Kay Morgan Caesar - CASS Counselling
CASS Counselling and Autism Spectrum Support
Founded by Kay Morgan Caesar
CASS Counselling & Autism Spectrum Support is a specialist counselling and support service operating from
Grey Door Therapy Clinic in Brighton and Hove,
serving individuals, families, and communities across the Sussex area.
CASS was created to provide the kind of emotional and practical support that is often missing for individuals on the autism spectrum and those who care for them — alongside accessible, person-centred counselling for the wider community.
About the Founder — Kay Morgan Caesar
Kay Morgan Caesar is the Founding Director of CASS Counselling & Autism Spectrum Support.
She holds a BSc (Hons) Degree in Person-Centred Counselling and a Diploma in Integrative Counselling, and works from a deeply person-centred therapeutic approach.
Kay supports clients to reconnect with their own remarkable capacity for self-healing, growth, and self-actualisation. With an emphasis on the here and now, she helps clients develop practical coping strategies that can be integrated into everyday life, supporting emotional wellbeing and long-term resilience.
Alongside her professional training, Kay brings invaluable lived experience. Having raised a child with Autism, she understands first-hand the emotional, practical, and systemic challenges faced by individuals on the spectrum and their families.
Through her own journey, Kay recognised a significant lack of emotional support for both autistic individuals and their caregivers.
CASS was established to create the network of understanding, compassion, and support that Kay herself wished had existed while raising her daughter.
The CASS Ethos
At CASS, it is believed that everyone has the natural ability to realise their full potential and pursue what is right for them. However, life’s many hurdles can make coping and navigating challenges difficult, often impacting emotional wellbeing.
CASS takes a client-centred approach, supporting individuals on their own journey of personal growth. The work focuses on helping clients reconnect with their inner values and strengths, enabling them to build happier, healthier, and more balanced lives.
As a certified not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC), giving back to the communities served is at the heart of everything CASS does. CASS is committed to building lasting social networks of support and creating meaningful, inclusive community connections.
Services Offered
Autism Spectrum Support
With over 700,000 people living with Autism in the UK, autism is far more common than many people realise. Individuals on the autism spectrum often experience the world differently, including challenges with communication, social interaction, and sensory processing. As a result, everyday situations and interactions can feel overwhelming or distressing.
At CASS, the emotional impact of these challenges is fully understood. Specialising in Autism Spectrum Support, CASS works collaboratively with individuals and families to explore strategies, tools, and approaches that support everyday life, emotional wellbeing, and meaningful engagement with the wider world.
Support is tailored to the individual, recognising that every person’s experience of autism is unique.
