Jen Gilbert - Children's CounsellorMBACP - registered member 377610
Jen is a qualified counsellor with a BACP accredited diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling.
She is a registered member of the BACP and is also a member of their
Children, Young People and Families Division.
Jen works at the Grey Door Therapy Clinic, Brighton and Hove, with young people from the age of eleven and upwards and adults from all different life experiences and backgrounds.
She has experience working with a diverse range of clients and working inclusively with everyone.
Jen has also been a counsellor at As You Are in Southwick, East Sussex for the last five years and through them was a counsellor for students at Plumpton College in East Sussex.
In addition to the above roles, Jen is the Youth Counselling Team Leader and was a
youth counsellor for three years at Sussex Community Counselling within SCDA.
Jen has vast experience working with a wide variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, isolation, bullying, expression of self, body issues, gender identity, issues around schooling including important transition periods and loss and grief.
Along with her counselling training and ongoing continual professional development, she also trained and completed the ASIST workshop in suicide first aid.
Jen offer's one to one Humanistic Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy.
