What Is Myofascial Release?
Myofascial Release is a hands-on, manual therapy that works with the fascial system — the web-like connective tissue that surrounds and supports every muscle, organ, and structure in the body.
Over time, fascia can become tight, restricted, or stuck due to injury, poor posture, inflammation, or emotional stress. These restrictions can lead to pain, limited mobility, and a general feeling of tension or disconnection in the body.
MFR uses gentle, sustained pressure and stretching techniques to release these fascial restrictions. It’s a slow, intuitive process that allows the tissue to unwind at its own pace — encouraging deep release, improved circulation, and a calming of the nervous system.

What to Expect in a Session
MFR sessions are typically performed on a massage table, with or without the use of oil. Unlike traditional massage, movements are slow, sustained, and focused on areas of restriction, rather than working on the muscles alone.
You may feel sensations such as warmth, pulsing, or a gradual release as the fascia begins to let go. Many clients find MFR both physically relieving and emotionally grounding.
